Earth Day 2009

Dear teacher and fellow friend,

Hi, earth day is coming!
earth is is a very important day to me which i learn
how to save mother earth through many methods,
of recycling, reducing and reusing. the earth day falls
on 22nd of April is Earth Day
Earth Day is a day when we as citizens of our nation,
singapore, we need to learn to empty litter we see and
dispose it correctly into different respective recycling bins.
I think that Earth Day is very important because it will
keep Singapore litter-free and not polluted. It also help
people to understand that earth is deteoriating and we
must try our best to keep and preserve earth. it is also
helps keep the earth clean and 'alive' and also to appreciate
what is given to us and not take things for granted. we should
be lucky that we have our aunties and uncles, those cleaners
to help us keep our school and Singapore clean and green.
Through the advertisements on the net and on television
i have seen , i learn more about some measures in which we
can help to save the earth like turning off the fans, lights or
air-conditioners when they are not in use. even simple thing like
using less water for bathing is also a simple method in which we
can use to save water on earth. It is important that we learn
how to reduce, reuse and recycle properly because to ensure that
we still have enough natural resources to hold on for our
younger generations and make sure that they are not used
up so fast. I can stop pollution now, starting from myself
then my family, my school, my neighbourhood.if any ordinary
kid can do it, so can you! i always remember that
one persons effort can also make a difference too!
